Two damaged people - he needs an heir - she needs protection. Together they enter a marriage of convenience, but love always wins out in a story like this. That both parties were carrying a lot of grief that had to be worked through made this a very touching read. I haven't read anything by this author before, but I will be looking forward to more from her.

A delightful read! It is not often that Regency stories include children and I am so glad this one did. Emma's children, Georgie and Harry, were adorable and she was fiercely protective of them. Hunt was a dear man and accepted the children as his own. Hunt and Emma's love grew slowly and was tender and heartwarming. You just felt good when the book came to an end.
