About this ebook

USA Today–Bestselling Author: He insisted on no strings—but now he’s offering her a ring . . .

Ramon Velaquez, heir to the Velaquez winery, clearly stated his cardinal rule to Lauren Maitland—he can’t promise her more than a red-hot affair. But though she heard the words, her heart wasn’t listening—and she left with more than the memory of their blissful night together . . .

Two years later, Ramon finds Lauren again. She’s independent, strong, and mother to a little boy. One look at the child and Ramon knows he’s his. There’s only one thing for it: a marriage of convenience—for the sake of his son and heir . . .

Normally I like this author, but this one is a dud for me. The hero lies and keeps secrets for no apparent reason, then berates the heroine for not trusting him.

About the author

Chantelle Shaw enjoyed a happy childhood making up stories in her head. Always an avid reader, Chantelle discovered Mills & Boon as a teenager and during the times when her children refused to sleep, she would pace the floor with a baby in one hand and a book in the other! Twenty years later she decided to write one of her own. Writing takes up most of Chantelle’s spare time, but she also enjoys gardening and walking. She doesn't find domestic chores so pleasurable!
