Military history as a fragment of extensive continuum of historical learning is in simple expressions the study of mankind in war. It was purely a subject of discussion and learning about tactics, battles, operations of the forces, campaigns and weapons.
It is the history of fighting where weapons and equipment, battle behaviour, military organisation, movement, logistics, mentality, tactical training and strategic planning are involved.
