About this ebook

Saeki Sayaka has always been an old soul--serious and reserved, preferring to focus on her studies rather than make friends. Until, that is, a romantic confession from another girl in middle school turns her carefully ordered world upside down. Though none of her classes have prepared her for this, Saeki must now come to terms with her sexuality in this gentle, coming-of-age novel about grappling with first love, growing up, and relating to other people.

I'm a big fan of Adachi and Shimamura, so when I learned that Hitoma-sensei was writing a spin-off novel set in the world of Bloom Into You another one of my favorite series. I didn't hesitate to pick it up. Hitoma-sensei's writing style is unmatched by any author I've ever read. The masterfully crafted metaphors and soliloquies... are indescribablely good

Sayaka is my favorite character from Bloom into you and this book describes her so amazingly. I always know BIY's characters are complex and this book show it just at much. It describes Sayaka's acceptance to her love for girls rightly. Her realization helps me understand the knowing of one coming to accept their love for the same gender usually isn't easy or fast, it takes time. I love this book.
