This updated reference edition of the HCSB is optimized for easy reading on digital devices. It includes more than 35,000 links to textual notes, alternate readings, explanatory notes, cross references, and Old Testament citations in the New Testament. The table of contents is organized by headings within each chapter and the corresponding verse numbers, and the ebook file has been specifically formatted to be fast and easy to use.
The HCSB was developed by 100 scholars and English stylists from 17 denominations, who prayerfully translated what is one of the most significant Bible translations available today. The HCSB reflects linguistic advances in vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and formatting while it retains meaningful theological terms. In the HCSB you'll find God's personal name (Yahweh), the use of "Messiah" in the New Testament, and the use of "slave" in the New Testament, just to name a few examples. Frankly speaking, I have not found any difference from Digital Text Edition. The text, links, preface, but for the cover are the same. translation is accurate. I love it. Please, help me to understand and find the difference. I'd really appreciate that. No linked cross ref. footnotes are the same as in Digital Text edition. words with bullets send you to the end of the bible, glossary section. The description given is not correct. Here are no alternate endings and whatsoever promised but for Digital Text Edition. A COPYRIGHT PAGE READS: HCSB DIGITAL TEXT EDITION. ISBN IS ACTUALLY THE SAME AS IN DIGITAL TEXT EDITION. YES, DIGITAL REFERENCE EDITION IS ONLY A FAKE COVER. CHRISTIANBOOK.COM REVIEWS ARE FOR PRINTED VERSION, NOT FOR THIS ONE.
