An sad, ludicrous indictment of a "justice system" so ridiculously gynocentric it will make your stomach turn. I could only make it to about halfway through this slow, dripping-with-misandry-and-pretty-proud-of-it excuse for a book; after that, my disgust and outrage were at such levels I didn't know if I wanted to assault a female, a cop or both ... I settled for a refund, deletion of the utter waste of tablet storage, and a review. Needless to say, I WON'T be reading any more of this fish-happy trash.

I have truly have enjoyed all the 29 Prey novels and the Virgil Flowers novels as well. The characters are down-to-earth and seem like just everyday people. Once I start reading one of these books I have a hard time putting it down and then the next thing I know, I'm finished. Then I am wanting more.

I love Sandfords writing, Davenport being my favorite. But I read that sify book he did and it was excellent and I see he has another out. Will always be reading and waiting for the next one.
