About this eBook

Dr. Ashlyn Penn has lived a rigid life. It's how she deals with her special gifts. Any deviation and her life turns to chaos. So when Harrison Thoreau enters her life it is no surprise she doesn't handle it well and pushes him away.

Harrison falls hard for Ashlyn, but respects her wishes and moves on. He is offered a spot on the Sparkle City Fireflies as their new goalie and throws himself into the game, but he never forgets about her.

When Harrison's best friend marries Ashlyn's sister everything, once again, changes and they are thrown together again. This time Ashlyn wonders if she made a mistake, and starts to plan a way to once again hook her firefly.

Lots of interesting twists in the story. Interesting and entertaining characters to follow along as they journey through this story. Fun reading a story with as many interesting twists and you wonder what the characters are going to do. Entertaining reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.

Ashlyn keeps everything regimented in her life as any change caused many problems in the past. Harrison falls instantly for her but obeys her wish to not start something, although he can not put her out of his mind. When fate steps in with his brother marrying her sister, the two are brought back together and a relationship starts up and overtakes them. A really beautiful romance with intense feelings overriding her caution. The chemistry is strong between Ashlyn and Harrison. So sad to see the story end so soon as the author really had me glued to the book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read a lot of books written by Dawn Brower; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the second book in the Sparkle City Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Ashlyn & Harrison; she avoids any changes to her life because it always turns to chaos so when they meet she pushes him away. He joins the Sparkle City Fireflies as their goalie. When his best friend marries her sister and they see each other again she wonder if she made a mistake pushing him away. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
