I've carried a beaten up paperback version of this book around with me for years. It is a source of comfort and I couldn't begin to say how many times I've read it, so of course I had to buy the Ebook, now that I've started to lighten my pack - though I miss the old cover. There is just something so comforting about taking this journey with Hope Yancy when you're feeling melancholic, unsure, or in the mood for an oddly uplifting story. It's small-town America, good people, good food, and the power of people standing with you. Joan Bauer wrote wondrously.
