I don't know what this is, but saying it's about modern Buddhism is a stretch. A big stretch. It reads more like a twelve year olds' story on how to view life. There are some good points made, but a lot of rambling is done as well. If you want some ideas about incorporated Buddhism in the western world, you may find one or two useful things. If you really want to know about Buddhism, skip this one. It's a book of tales, no more, no less.

Career is misspelled as 'Carrier' throughout the book. Many such writing problems. Needs proofreading. Casual non-serious writing. The book is less about Buddhism and more about praying to an imaginary 'Amitabha'. The book diverges heavily from Buddha's original teachings based on rationality and scientific thinking. This book is more about the author giving his own advice, garnished with snippets from random sources.
