About this eBook

When Souma Kazuya was summoned to another world to become a hero, he didn't go on an adventure, he became the king of Elfrieden and took to governing instead. Using knowledge from his old world, Souma began to push forward reforms every day, but eventually there came a time when he would have to face the general of the army, Georg Carmine, who refused to soften his rebellious stance. When the plans of the neighboring Principality of Amidonia get involved, things move from the political arena to the military one. "Now, let the subjugation war begin!" Will Souma be able to safely bring this war to a conclusion?! This amazing transferred-to-another-world internal-politics fantasy series is on its second volume!

Like the war strategies. Showed more depth in the main char development. Still not a fan of how the writing flows, especially when explaining strategies or differences in worlds. Kind of rambled on and on. Sometimes spoiling the twist. Unsure to continue on or drop. Hmmm...

I'm really liking this story. I hope the author reads these reviews as I'd like them to know how much I enjoy and appreciate the care taken to write it, as well as the fine work taken in the translation. I've been reading each volume in both Japanese and English. Thank you to all who worked on it in both languages.

The best light novel series I have ever read. No exceptions. Recommended for anyone looking for a smaller version of L. E. Modesitt Jr.'s Spellsong Cycle series. (Or maybe David Weber's Safehold series.)
