Elizabeth MacLeod especially enjoyed researching and writing about the ecopreneurs in this book—see chapter 7. She hopes these stories will inspire readers to fight climate change. Liz has written more than 70 biographies, picture books, cookbooks and other nonfiction books. She’s won many awards for her work, including Children’s Choice awards across Canada and the Norma Fleck Award for Canadian Children’s Non-Fiction. This is the sixth book Liz and Frieda have written together—their most recent are How to Become an Accidental Activist and How to Become an Accidental Genius.

Frieda Wishinsky loves discovering stories. She’s an international award-winning author of over 70 books, from picture books to chapter books to novels and nonfiction. She’s also a freelance editor who enjoys helping other writers write great stories. Frieda loves gardens and gardening, traveling, hiking and finding new ideas in books, movies, conversations and trips.
