Hugh Garner is a retired Management Consultant and is an engineering graduate. He edited an award winning weekly newspaper for several years. He is no stranger to the printing and publishing field, however. He founded two printing companies and was Chief I.E. of a major yearbook publisher. His technical writings include one study that is in the NASA Library titled "Information Systems and Control" which he co-authored. As a part of that study,he developed the Thesaurus and Dictionary of Terms and was co-developer of the Permutation Index. These three elements, along with sorting and filing functions, are basic to todays' large search programs. The Thesaurus will be found as a tool on most word processors. As a consultant he billed over 25,000 hours and, before retiring, was in charge of training and support for the consultants of a national firm. His career has been devoted to looking beyond conventional wisdom in seeking solutions to problems that others accept as normal. This requires the ability to analyze and sort through the facts. As a student of the Bible for most of his adult life, and an avid follower of cutting edge science,he has used these skills for the close examination of the Bible. This led to a number of new insights, which provide not only interesting reading, but also a whole new understanding of the Christian destiny.
