Melody Key
Great continuation of the story. It continues right after the events of the first volume and the synposis accurately depicts what the whole volume is about. I think the author handled the way Kiara deals with her guilt of killing others pretty well. And, as you read from the synposis, there's the development of a bit of a love triangle between Kiara, Reggie, and Cain, though I would say that it isn't very present in this volume, only appearing in a couple of scenes. Either way, I really enjoy the unique relationships Kiara has with the other characters, especially Reggie and Master Horace. This volume also leaves on a cliffhanger, but there's a sidestory at the end that has pretty ominous foreshadowing of what may come in the third volume. Overall, I really enjoyed this volume as well and I'm interested in seeing what happens next.
