About this ebook

While this story is entirely fictional, it was inspired by the true story of the saw-whet owl who was accidentally kidnapped from the spruce forests of Oneonta, New York State, and transported to Rockefeller Plaza in that year's Christmas tree. In this story, Sawyer has just built herself a new tree house when the tree that contains it is uprooted and transported miles away. Surely something can be done to prevent owls becoming homeless? Sawyer takes up the crusade!
