 Kajian ini mencoba menelusuri risalah pergerakan mahasiswa UI melalui sebuah studi kasus pada Tahun 2012 sebagai puncak dominasi salah satu kelompok ; Kelompok Tarbiyah yang berafiliasi kuat dengan salah satu parpol yang terinspirasi gerakan Ikhwanul Muslimin. Kajian ini menggunakan perspektif ilmu Geografi Politik.

 

Fokus dari kajian deskriptif ini adalah pada sebuah pertanyaan penelitian; Bagaimana perubahan teritorial persaingan politik antar kelompok pergerakan mahasiswa di UI yang terjadi selama selama tahun 2012, dengan garis batas waktu antara sebelum dan setelah Pemira (Pemilihan Raya) 2012. Dari pertanyaan tersebut, kemudian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis deskripsi perubahan teritorial persaingan politik yang terjadi antar kelompok pergerakan Mahasiswa tersebut.

About the author

 Ibnu Budiman is a MSc candidate at the Environmental Policy Group, Wageningen University and Research (WUR). He works on policy configuration in environmental governance (fragmentation and polycentric), primarily on climate change (energy-agriculture nexus). Ibnu is particularly interested in the connections between state and non-state actors and examining institutional complexity, and how to improve the effectiveness of climate governance.


Ibnu was a fellow to the Transrisk and Greenwin project, consortiums of research programme of Horizon2020, European Comission (EC). He has published academic articles, policy reports, op-ed articles and book chapters on a variety of environmental issues. He participated in the public debate on environment, climate and energy, agriculture, among other, through newspaper appearances, conferences and open lectures.

Before joining WUR, Ibnu worked in international consulting firms Sustainability and Resilience (Su-re.co), advising international public authorities, such as EC, Asian Development Bank, UNIDO and Japan International Cooperation Agency, on environmental, agriculture, energy and climate policies. He also carried out volunteer at the Canada World Youth in Nova Scotia, Canada; and, the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation in Borneo, Indonesia.

Ibnu holds a BSc in Human Geography from University of Indonesia and he joined a field school in the same topic in Sydney University. He is a Indonesian native, speaks English, and has a working knowledge of Indonesia and, several African countries.
