Jared is the desk clerk at the Deerbourne Inn and he happy with his life. Xander is a photojournalist who travels around the world to get his story. He comes to Willow Springs and the inn to get a much needed rest. He and Jared are attracted to each other but Xander has reasons to keep Jared at arms length. This is the first book by this author that I've read but won't be my last. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed it.

Great book! I laughed and got misty eyed at what Xander was going through and Jared supporting him. Jared went through a lot but came out very well. Couldn’t put the book down!
