Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA (Light Novel)

Great sequel to eva that will whet the appetite until the next part of rebuild comes out. I would rec this only for fans who have seen the show and the movies. It has a lot of neat ideas introduced in rebuild and the tv show that get expanded upon along with more characterization and interaction. The only issue is that it can get bogged down with exposition im the beginning and i wish the images could be zoomed in more. It can be hard to tell whats going on at first

I love how the alternate retelling of the series emphasizes more on the thrills and actions of the characters instead of shoving up heavy religious element unlike the original one so to make the plot less pretentious and mostly straight to the point. Cant wait to read the rest of the ANIMA series.
