CHRISTINE VERITY COONEY
February 20, 2015
This is Kant's prelude to his future great works The Critique of Pure Reason and the Critique of Practical Reason. Firstly, Kant is the greatest western philosopher since Plato. Secondly, it is essential to study Kant's work for understanding of the Critiques. Thirdly, Kant's philosophy is required in the understanding of religions. Therefore I consider it essential to read the Prolegomena before reading the Critiques. This is an excellent logical exposition in which Kant more briefly explains his ideas.
