Nicole Karam goes to war with the FBI to protect and exonerate her husband from false and trumped-up accusations; Hartmann has lost his business, money, and sanity. Hartmann's sidekick and aide Jesse Montoya, a reformed south side San Antonio gangster, forms a posse of old friends and sets off to rescue Hartmann after hacking into the FBI mainframe.
