Holy moly! Erika Wilde has brought some fire-scorching hotness to the first book in this series. Indecent Proposal was filled with sizzling chemistry, great banter, and danger. Told in first person dual POV we see Vaughn and Claire go from enemies to lovers in an action-packed, dirty-sexy romance. My kindle was on fire after reading this story. I really enjoyed this romantic suspense and can't wait to read the next book in the series. I highly recommend Indecent Proposal especially if you love your romances off the charts hot. *I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book*

Her being shot at on the firm's premises has something to do with it, but his security arrangements at his personal cabin calls another opportunity. Dominant/submissive theme, instant attraction laced with an intriguing case involving her ex, now deceased. Deliberate provocation by Claire and willing to dish out punishment by Vaughan. A little contrived even if you enjoy this genre, but it provides the bases of the relationship. Feisty and sassy, frightened and unaware Claire, bossy and determined Vaughan who has little interest in deep relationships, using ex military skills for personal protection. Mutual attraction.
