Most engaging visual display of photos coupled with eloquent writing style made me read this ebook in one sitting. Absolutely loved the book. Reading the ebook was like sometimes looking into the mirror. I could draw some parallels in my life. Loved the choice of photographs coupled with brevity of words to describe emotions. Specifically loved the Parenthood phase, which is very well depicted and the one which most of us can easily relate to. Kudos to the author, a job well done👌👌👌👌.Hope you continue to write many more such books and continue to enrich us with your experiences . All the best.

Dear Ritu - Don't know why I am feeling emotional going through this book, may be because it speaks of the bitter truth or may be because I am touched by the simplicity of expressions and originality of thoughts and pictures. I am getting to know your pain, joy, and you more through this beautiful creation. You are a powerhouse of talent, you are gifted to express your talent and feelings in words. You will make it to the Mount Everest of literature, understood by the mass. I loved every bit of this piece of art. Keep it flowing. Please don't stop here. My best part of all is the page on "Pretending" with a picture from aboriginal Australians. As a child, I pretended to be an obedient good daughter by studying hard; In teen-hood, I pretended to not care for boys around me because my family will not approve of it; in adulthood, I pretended to be a good daughter in law so my parents are not looked down upon for raising me the way they did; in mid age I pretended to be a good mother even when kids made constructive comments. I wonder when the game of pretend will end, when will I experience Nirvana... Love you Ritu. Proud of you!

I waited until I got a lazy Sunday afternoon to read (savor?) the book (yes, with a cup of chai in hand) - and glad I did! This was a pure treat. Unique combination pictures and words to tease your mind - indeed a pioneering attempt at "photo-poetry". The expressions are simple, honest and earnest.......and narrate experiences each of us can relate to at some level, at some point in our lives. While the bird makes our heart skip a beat, the half-marathon story makes us go "so true!" in our head. My heart leapt at the photo of Niagara falls with the rainbow - and sank at the words underneath. She memorializes pain and loss beautifully through "castle in the air" and "pushing the envelop" - while masterfully celebrating the memory and life. Ritu takes us through the roller coaster of life - effortlessly through a play of visuals and words. My personal favorite is the section on parenthood. I am finding it hard pick a favorite in that section - but "lemon" brings a smile that stays with me. I loved the interspersion of clean and simple folk art as a separator among the riot of photos and poetry. A beautiful creation - clearly a labor of love and pain; may this be the start of a long creative journey that brings immense joy to the readers.
