About the author
Ingrid Schmitz wurde 1955 in Düsseldorf geboren, arbeitete dort als Speditionskauffrau bei einer kanadischen Reederei und später im sowjetischen Außenhandel. Seit 2000 ist sie hauptberufliche Schriftstellerin. Bisher sind über 50 Krimikurzgeschichten, drei Romane und 13 Anthologien von ihr veröffentlicht worden. Bei Droemer Knaur hat sie eine eigene Krimi-eBook-Reihe bekommen. 2011 schrieb sie die Biographie "Currywurst & Dolce Vita" des Auswandererpärchens Didi & Hasi, bekannt durch VOX-Goodbye
