About this eBook

Master storyteller and internationally bestselling author Christopher Paolini returns to the World of Eragon with Murtagh. Murtagh, a stunning epic fantasy set a year after the events of the Inheritance Cycle, will publish in 2023.

It began with Eragon . . . It ends with Inheritance, book four in The Inheritance Cycle.

Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still the real battle lies ahead: they must confront King Galbatorix.

When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they can't, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Featuring spectacular artwork by cult artist John Jude Palencar, this stunning book brings the bestselling Inheritance cycle to a breathtaking conclusion.

Amazing way to end the series, first of all the story from start to finish was breath taking and some points had me literally on the edge of my seat. I'm by nature not a avid book reader but once I read the first few chapters of Eragon I honestly couldn't stop, I absolutely recommend this series or rather cycle to everyone!!! its well and truly worth it. Inheritance it self was a superb read it certainly surprised me a lot and twisted some of my predictions I had before it release from the previous books (not naming them due to spoilers). However there where some questions still unanswered and one can just speculate but I have a feeling theres a subtle answer hidden somewhere and I am fully content with that. Finally Christopher Paolini I personally want to thank you for sharing with us all this fantastic tale of hope, endurance, honor, growth, friendship and respect...it took a while to finish but I enjoy the ride and I wont forget it! thank you!!!

The author tries too much to emulate Lord of the Rings, not just the story but the style of writing. Should've stamped his own style. Still it's OK.
