This book explores the framework of Intercultural Citizenship within a variety of US teaching and learning contexts. The chapters, which comprise both conceptual pieces and empirical research studies, represent a wide variety of languages at levels ranging from beginner to advanced, from early elementary through higher education contexts. Par autoru
Kaishan Kong is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, USA. Her research interests include Intercultural Communicative Competence, Intercultural Citizenship, World Language Education and Teacher Education.
Allison Spenader is a Professor at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, Minnesota, USA. Her research interests include Intercultural Development in Study Abroad, Intercultural Citizenship, Immersion Education, Critical Content-Based Language Instruction (CBI , CLIL) and Teacher Preparation.
