About the author

Emile Pefferkorn is Director of Research at the Institut Charles Sadron (C.N.R.S.), Strasbourg, France. He specializes in research on the adsorption of polymers and polyelectrolytes at solid/liquid interfaces and stability of colloid/polymer systems. A coeditor of Fragmentation Phenomena, he also serves on the editorial board of Current Topics in Colloid and Interface Science. Dr. Pefferkorn received the Doctorates Sciences degree (1975) from the Universite Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg.
