Forensic sculptor Eve Duncan risked it all to protect Cara Delaney from the enemies who want her dead. The journey has led them from California to a remote mountain in the Scottish highlands--and earned Eve the distinction of becoming their next target. When, despite all precautions, Cara is taken, Eve must hunt down the very people who want to kill her in order to save the young girl. At a time in her life when she has more at stake than ever before, she unhesitatingly puts it all on the line in a pulse-pounding mission of rescue and survival.

Another adventurous ride with Eve Duncan. They travel to several places trying to keep Cara safe from the people trying to kill her. Eve gets an unexpected surprise that she doesn't see coming. Thrilling roller coaster ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. We get new characters but also ones from. previous books like Caleb, Jock Gavin, MacDuff, Jane and Joe Quinn.

Another great Eve Duncan story. I enjoy the story line so much. She's a brilliant strong woman. The story is filled with danger excitement and even humor. The characters share love and great emotional bonds. This one takes you to other countries and introduced new characters as well as extending the Duncan family. I am so looking forward to the next book. Please don't make us wait to long .
