Once again, the cliff I'm left hanging off at the end of this book has stolen all my thoughts and feelings about everything I read before it. Some of the events that Lara set into play are starting to work in her favor, but so much else is already working against them. Very little in this series is what it appears to be on the surface, which means I'm more desperate than ever to find out what the twist at the end of this book is going to mean in the future. I love this series. It is drama-filled, mystery, suspense all in one. It has you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. My only complaint is that it is too short. It starts getting super juicy and bam the cliffhanger. I love the interactions between Robert and Lara. They always seem to be leading up to something bigger. I can’t wait to see where it is heading. The story is extremely well written and developed. It is definitely a must read and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
