Yet another great installment to the academy of peculiars series, Brielle and Ellie are not exactly friends. Finding themselves thrown into an investigation of sorts, working undercover with the last person they expected. This is a fun series, with plenty of sass and twists to it's exciting plot. The storyline is captivating, with a lot of secrets and unexpected turns. I can't wait to read the next book to see how things play out, I have a few theories and can't wait to see if I'm right. Seeker is book four in the Academy of the Peculiars series. It has elements of X-Men and other paranormal stories but has its perspective. There are strong female characters who are smart and know how to take care of themselves. Brielle is in quite a predicament, and how she does not know whom she can trust but really needs to find an ally. With excellent paranormal action and romance and suspense and a mystery to solve, the storyline flows. Seeker is an entertaining page-turner. I was satisfied with where the first trilogy of books left us, but it appears that there are a great many questions still waiting to be answered, along with a few new mysteries to solve. This time, it's up to Brielle and Ellie to take point. I really liked how so much of the focus of this book was on recognizing your self worth and the value of your own personal skills and abilities. It's clear that our leading ladies have only just scratched the surface of what's going on at Zodiac Academy. I can't wait to learn what they discover next.
