About this ebook

The past doesn’t always stay buried, especially when Alice is the one with the shovel

Now that Alice Winter has a better handle on her magic, she’s intent on solving the one crime that’s eluded her for the past year - who attacked her the night of Stephen Charming’s party. The same night Anna was murdered. The night she still barely remembers.

She doesn’t want to worry Rumpelstiltskin - who seems caught up in his own family drama back in the Fae realm - so she goes to the only person who can help her: Rumple’s dangerous younger brother, Pan.

Pan has his own reasons for helping Alice, and it’s not benevolent. With Pan, it never is.

At the same time, the pieces around Anna’s murder start to crumble. Vicious affairs are exposed, evidence shows up in the most unexpected of places, and everything Alice thought she knew about herself and who she is, is revealed to be a carefully constructed lie put into place to punish the innocent and protect the wicked. The only question Alice must answer is which category does she fall into.

With the grittiness and mystery of Veronica Mars and the magic and romance of Once Upon A TimeThe Seeker’s Revenge is the thrilling fifth book in a captivating urban fantasy mystery readers are enchanted by!

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. The bargains and double-crosses at the heart of Wonderland are starting to unravel, and Alice is caught in the way of too many of those threads as they snap back on their originators. There are many revelations in this book. Most of them only serve to bring up more questions. I love Alice’s unrelenting drive to find out the truth, but I wish she had a slightly higher sense of self-preservation. Her ‘too stupid to live’ tendencies frustrate the living daylights out of me. However, I’m desperate to learn how it all turns out in the end and if any of my pet theories turn out to be correct. My fingers are already itching to get a hold of the next book. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.

There are so many mysteries and secrets in this story. A real page turner trying to find out who did it. You find out some really surprising secrets along the way too. I love the ending and finding out who Mary Beth is and how she is getting her magic. I cannot wait for the next book to come it. You do find out who killed Mary Stone but not Anna. Hopefully more will come out in the next book and we will find out how Alice got her magic. A thrilling read. I would recommend this book to all. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Things are really coming Undone in this book, all the secrets, lies and cover ups are starting to unravel. I have read this entire series, and I must say I absolutely love the portrayal of Rumplestiltskin. He's quite the mysterious and intriguing imp, and also my favourite character. I could rant all day about everything I love about him, but I'll try not too. Alice is a fascinating main female, her story has been very interesting from the first book all the way through. This entire story is out of this world amazing, the dark fantasy/fairytale is a mixture of Alice in wonderland and other fairytale characters. But what makes this even more exciting is the fae addition, and Rumplestiltskin's background. If you love murder mysteries with a dark fantasy twist, then this series is a perfect one to read. I want the paperback collection, and if it comes out in audiobook I will definitely buy it.
