I've read the first fight scene, and the hero is worse than the bad guys. Remember, dead is dead, and anything more is just overplayed! Two stars for this trash. Trying understand that the hero is at a dark place now. Now I'm just past halfway through the book and the MC is the worst narcissist of the bunch of them in this book. Really I can't recommend the book as it stands. The "all important" triplets are already an afterthought. The girl on cover has already been rejected by MC too. Honestly, I hope it has to do with translation as this hero sucks as is. I'm currently rooting for bad guys in this story! Someone, please 🙏 save us from the hero/tyrant! Final point, when whole rogue bands are caught they summarily executed. Slave collars aren't a perfect device. Sweets controlling women is just demeaning on a whole other level. How low can this guy go?!

it's a great book but what I really don't like about it is that there are no chapters. you literally go from chapter one to epilogue but in the book you do have separate chapters they just don't show up on the tab where you can click on them. so you literally have to go through and bookmark either all of those individual chapters or just the favorite parts that you like which is really a pain in the butt
