while so enjoyable, I was a little sad to see the familiars take a major back seat in this book. It was one of my main reasons to start reading this series, and I have enjoyed every book. They mostly remain in the magic bag, and while they are out. They take very little time in this book. So if you like this series for the sand reason. It feels slower and more tedious, but still a decent book in the series.
