An Alien Prince for Christmas

Sadie is depressed. She has a defective heart and in spite of being careful all her life, she's still going to die. Xalvox has come to earth to find a mate and help repopulate his planet. When Sadie faints, he takes her aboard his ship. She is whisked away to an alien planet that has the means to cure her and all she'll have to do is mate with him. This was a fast and easy read. It's about 30 pages, maybe and I read it in one quick sitting. I know it's hard to do much characters development in a short story so I discounted that, but there were a few "out of place" things that irritated me. I knocked off a star for them. I do like short stories for when I've only got a few minutes and this one wasn't bad, just inconsistent with the technology.

Sadie has just received the devastating news from her doctor that she has just a few months to live because of a problem with her heart that cannot be fixed. Wandering the streets, thinking about what this means for her, she encounters a green alien in front of her and she passes out! Sadie is upset when she awakens to find herself on a spaceship! Xalvox, the green alien who has taken her, says the healers on his planet can fix her medical condition. And in return, he has a little favor to ask of her . . . How will Sadie react to Xalvox’s request? Grab your copy and see if his people can indeed help her, and then find out if she is wants to stay beyond Christmas!

This is a cute, sweet and quick read. The storyline is entertaining and fun with a Christmas theme. Sadie and Xalvox have steamy chemistry.
