This is the first in this series that I've read and I love that it is a stand-alone story leaving me free to catch up with the earlier novels. The story of Marjorie and Billy's professional relationship is revealed throughout the book, and they are both likeable characters. Entwining the present with the past kept me on my toes throughout and the tension ramps up as the tale reaches it's conclusion. With plenty happening, this is one I enjoyed, and the author is definitely worth a second look.4*
