About this ebook

Letty wanted her ashes scattered under a full moon at the beach, but she couldn’t have known about the lightning strike....or did she?

When their beloved godmother dies suddenly, the Concordia sisters converge on the beach town of Sarasota, Florida to mourn the passing of the woman who raised them. While there, they must scatter her ashes as instructed and decide what to do with her consignment shop, One Woman’s Junk.

Navigating her relationships with her older sisters is hard enough for Beatrice, but after they’re all struck by lightning, things get more complicated in the land of sun and sand. With the power of a newly inherited crystal ring, Bea is suddenly assailed by psychic visions when she touches certain objects.

When her godmother is posthumously accused of having stolen a designer purse (which Bea knows darn well is a knock-off – thank you very much), Bea becomes obsessed with proving her innocence.

Contending with a physical injury, challenging family dynamics, and business headaches, Bea struggles to harness and understand her visions.

With the help of an unusual new “friend” and the sexy carpenter next door, she’s determined to clear Letty’s good name.

But doing so may be a bad decision.

One that could cost her not only her relationship with her sisters…but her life.

I was tossed near the start of this one. Part of me wanted to just pass it by, but another part wanted to go further. I am glad I went on. Great story and great author too. Now to see if my card works to buy the next book in the series.

Excellent entertainment in an unusual family setting. Drama ,love , suspense and a mystery to solve. The twisted ending is the cherry on top of a sensational story. 🥰

Loved this book! The is a wonderful start to a new series that promises to be great. This book introduces us to the three sisters, "Letty's girls." When Letty passes unexpectedly, they travel to Florida to put her to rest and handle her second hand shop. While scattering her ashes in the ocean, an event occurs that triggers previously unknown gifts in each of them. While they are sisters, they aren't close, so each struggles with their new reality separately. As you can expect with this author, there is lots of humor and unique psychic traits. I especially loved Pim and Nutmeg. Funny and completely entertaining, with great new characters and an engaging mystery. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list. Put this one at the top of your TBR list as it's a must read.

About the author

When a fan told her that she's a "fabulous author", a "great sport", and a "very cool chick", JB Lynn immediately thought, "that's what I want my obituary to say!".

A Jersey Girl transplanted to the Sunshine State, JB (you can call her Jen) writes laugh-out-loud suspense and mysteries, along with goosebump-raising thrillers.

She also guzzles coffee, spoils her dog, wastes endless hours daydreaming, and does her best to be a "cool chick" (but if you ever meet her, you'll know how dismally she fails).
