VETERINARY MEDICINE (Latin veterinarius caring for cattle, treating cattle) is a system of sciences that studies the structure of the animal body and the physiological and pathological processes occurring in it, as well as methods of treatment and prevention of animal diseases. The term "veterinary medicine" also refers to a set of state and public events aimed at preserving the health of animals and increasing their productivity, protecting people from diseases peculiar to animals and humans (veterinary business).
