Book 4
In Search of the Castaways tells the story of the quest for Captain Grant of the Britannia, which was shipwrecked. A bottle with a message in it, found in a shark's stomach, although much of the message was erased indicated that the captain and children were still alive.
Lord and Lady Glenarvan, moved by the children's condition, decide to launch an expedition to find the castaway captain and the children.
The main difficulty is that the coordinates of the wreckage are mostly erased, and only the latitude (37 degrees) is known; thus, the expedition would have to circumnavigate the 37th parallel south. Remaining clues consist of a few words in three languages, and indicate various destinations seem likely like Chile, Argentina, Southern Tip of Australia, New Zealand and even the Northern Most Part of Antarctica.
Join in this epic adventure with Lord and Lady Glenarvan as they embark on a dangerous journey, risking everything including shipwreck, capture, piracy, and mutiny in search of the castaways.
