Wicked Dirty: A spellbindingly passionate love story

Lyle Tarpin is Hollywoods latest heartthrob,a rising star who everybody loves, what you don't know is he spends his nights having meaningless sex with women who are only needed for the night, all he wants to do is erase the memories, guilt and pain he feels and he believes losing himself in a woman for a few hours helps. It was working until he met Sugar Laine who thought she could do what was needed for some fast cash to save her family home. Sugar needs cash and Lyle needs a fake girlfriend, you might say it's a win win but then feelings come into the mix what starts off as an instant attraction soon becomes love but will love be enough for Lyle stop hiding from his past and move forward with the women he can't get out of his mind and will Sugar be prepared to wait for him to come to his senses. Mention the Stark name and I'm dropping what ever else I'm reading and this book did not disappoint, this looks like it's shaping up to be yet another fantastic series from J Kenner as always the characters are strong and you fall in love with them instantly. The chemistry is sizzling but it's not just a hot story it's a love story with some twists and turns, it's sweet and hot all rolled into one and I can't wait for the next book which I hope is Noah's story.

Sugar Laine is a girl that has been through a series of difficulties, but has fought hard and confronted every single one of them. Laine, as she prefers to be called, now finds herself about to lose her house. Getting another job is out of the question, she barely has time to eat and sleep during her hectic days… but what if she was able to found a job that required little time and just enough pay? Lyle Tarpin is a rising Hollywood actor. He has everything anyone could have dreamed of: the friends, the money, the resources… and also the baggage that goes with it. He’s a man on a mission to right his wrongs while maintaining his “good boy” image. He has a past he’s running away from and he found and interesting way to deal with it, even if it isn’t actually dealing with it at all. In his journey to cope with his sad and unfortunate past, he avoids personal relationships and favors the occasional (and very private) call girl one night stands. That was until he found the one to make his life sweeter. In their own way, they’re both finding a way to deal with the hand life has offered them. Each of them in their particular way. Since the moment they met, the attraction they feel for each other is palpable. But it’s even more interesting how Laine is able to read Lyle from the very beginning, regardless of the way they meet and her inexperience. Due to the way they met and the circumstances that have them come together, it’s clearly there that a relationship for them is doom. It’s very interesting to see how everything around them gets them closer together and sort out a relationship that potentially shouldn’t happen. I got completely hooked up from the first few chapters. The story is fun and sexy. Their interaction, dialogues, and the series of events that makes them a real couple immersed me in their story immediately. The characters are people that you’ll adore and fall in love with.

I don't think I could ever get bored of Ms Kenner's books. Although this book has secondary characters from the Stark series the author writes them in a way that they don't take the focus off the main story. Lyle is Hollywood's next best thing, he is the poster boy for the SCF (Stark Children's Foundation) but he has a past a past that he wants to be kept hidden that is until Sugar comes into his life and she makes him feel things he had long forgot about. Sugar Laine (Laine to her friends) is broke but working hard to keep her childhood home but then along comes an offer she can't refuse, but Laine has had her fair share of hurt in her life, she is ready for no strings. Or at least she thinks she is. Until Lyle she wants more but is he willing to give that? What will happen when secrets are revealed will Lyle and Laine make it or will they both admit defeat and call it a day? Great 5 star read and if you want to know more about the other characters I suggest you give all the other books in this series a read
