Seems like work from a green author the story gets too wordy and it breaks up moments that are initially created to have a heavy impact. The dialogue seemed realistic in the since that people love to ramble but when the characters ramble they seem to loose the meaning of they're argument. Lex was my favorite character in this because of his lack of dialogue(most likely from being a stoic character) even though the Lex² duo wasn't as fleshed out as I wanted it and Alexa didn't get her "moment" that I thought she should have gotten (momentum was too fast). Wasn't a terrible book but needs work.

Only part I am not liking is how often it's playing out like a soap opera. Not cool. Also, it's an impossibility that the world would consent to 'stand down'. Pretty sad assertion there, not going to happen for the man of steel.

I just read all three volumes so far...at the cost of sleep and getting ready for work and etc... besides what the original creators put out that influenced almost if not everybody in the world...this character here...i say that the partnership that brought this series together has not only embodied the superman of the past but has also shaped the one for this present time and probably the future. These comics are inspirational to me...i eagerly await the next volume. Quality over quantity.
