About this ebook

In the latest novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Love After All and the Play-By-Play novels, running from the past isn’t nearly as satisfying as facing the future…

Brady Conners is hardly the settling type, but when tragedy strikes in his family, he has no choice but to return home to Hope, Oklahoma. Setting up shop to work on custom motorcycles and pass the time, Brady has no intention of letting anyone get close—until he meets Megan.

Pastry shop owner Megan Lee is drawn to quiet, brooding Brady. Their connection is undeniable, and it quickly develops from physical attraction into something much stronger. But with Brady putting up barriers, Megan is afraid to truly open her heart—unless she can convince him to let go of the past…

Jaci Burton tugs my heartstrings in the latest installment to the Hope series! Brady is the strong, silent type. He works hard and keeps his head down while saving money to open his own motorcycle detailing shop. Brady is also carrying around a massive amount of guilt and pain from his older brother’s death. He’s basically going through the motions until a cute little mutt of a dog tumbles into his life…followed by a certain pretty baker who’s slowly working her way into Brady’s tightly guarded heart. Brady and Megan are complete opposites but seem to fit each other perfectly. As the pair end up spending time together, feelings get entwined and eventually becomes too much for Brady to handle. Megan knows she should step lightly but falls fast and hard for the stoic mechanic. Love is a battlefield and winning the war is harder than either of them thought. All they have to do is don’t let go. Those three simple words could bring the couple together or drive them permanently apart. Jaci Burton always delivers an entertaining story with lots of loveable characters, lots of laughs and lots of passion! You’ll shed a few tears but in the end, you’ll be glad you did! Brady and Megan were great together. I wasn’t sure at first, but as their relationship grew they just fit together. I also loved how Brady’s rescue dog brought out the softer side in him. We are also treated to several scenes with the rest of the Hope gang! Lots of surprises and a lot of laughs! I enjoyed the book and can’t wait for the next one! I highly recommend this and any book by Jaci Burton! ***I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***

3.5 stars Don't Let Go is a sweet tale about two people with opposite goals. He never wants kids, a wife, or anything that would make him feel. She wants it all- kids, a home, an adoring husband. He doesn't talk to her because he is afraid he'll want more. She can't seem to stop talking around him and she always wants more. He is a motorcycle riding, tattooed man. He works in a body shop and creates amazing works of art. She looks like the sexy, sweet girl next door. She owns her own bakery and creates magnificent confections of all kinds. They aren't so different, but they are emotionally worlds apart. Until... Don't Let Go is book 6 in the Hope series by Jaci Burton. It's sweet, fun, and sexy. Plus it has Roxie, aka Killer. What more could you want?
