"Dark spruce forest frowned on either side the frozen waterway. The trees had been stripped by a recent wind of their white covering of frost, and they seemed to lean towards each other, black and ominous, in the fading light. White Fang is a story about the fight for life and the nature of being. It's about good and evil, the redemption and salvation of the soul and finding happiness. Probably Jack London's best work.
