The crazy workings of the mind of Jackie Ashenden never fails to amaze me, and how lucky are we that all that crazy pours out onto the pages of her books! In this second book in the Nine Circles series we get the story of Alex St. James as the Circle tries to unravel the mystery of the silver dice. His story is a heartbreaking one and the dice will lead him to the one man he never wants to see again. He won't face him alone though. By his side he will have is highly skilled and very attractive bodyguard Katya. When their relationship takes a turn toward more than employee/employer, Alex realizes he is not willing to risk everything. This is a fast paced wonderfully written story with twists and turns that keep you completely entranced. I definitely recommend this one!!
