About this ebook

Eleanor Palmer is relieved when her fiancé cries off the marry another woman but horrified when he suggests the dissolute Marquess of Grenville as a replacement. Eleanor may claim descent from the lusty King Charles II, but this proper English lady has no interest in the pleasures of the flesh. She'd rather read the Classics.

Nathaniel St. Clair is infamous for his wicked ways--drinking, gambling, and fornicating--but he's willing to give up all but one of his vices to initiate the lovely Miss Palmer into the joys of lust. Maybe a little dirty Latin poetry will aid his cause.

NOTE: This novella was originally published under the same title by Cobblestone Press in 2007 and again in 2009 by Kensington Books in the anthology titled Behind the Red Door.

There is nothing like a little bit naughty and hot regency romance. I really liked Nathaniel and Eleanor! He is such a confident charmer. I really enjoyed this quick read. I loved the surprise she got in the end.

She is happy when her fiance cries off the wedding but when she learns of the replacement she is not so happy. He is not the sort of man she wants near her. He is willing to give all his bad vices up except one to see her. He wonders if exotic poems will help. See if they will I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second book in "The Ever Afters" series and I felt that it was a very enjoyable read with the good storyline and well defined characters!
