Though I am not attracted to the same sex, I chose to read this book because I love Jackie Hill-Perry and I know she did not just write this book for an audience of only same sex attracted Christians. And I also like her as a poet, speaker and now as an author. Her book simply inspired me in more ways then I can write in these few words. If I don't take away anything else from this book, except that I just want my life to glorify God in every way, I believe that would be enough.

Do not read if you are trying to figure out who you are. Never forget there is a community that will accept you, and you are not alone in your journey. This won't help you feel accepted. Find a better book. It'll all be ok, I love you, bye!

I really enjoyed the read and absolutely loved how God used Jackie to write this book & how He transformed her life. This book has given me so much insight on the topic of SSA in both the world and the church. It has opened my eyes on how to share the love of Jesus & His sacrifice for our sins with others on not just SSA issues, but all aspects of sin! Thank you for sharing your testimony Jackie! God is good ALL the time and ALL the time God is good ❤
