Alex’s previous book, “Suburbanites on Safari,” was a story wittily told to grown-up readers about the first African safari experience of four friends: big city dwellers who found themselves in the middle of a South African Savannah.
Shaland’s latest book, “Jackie Goes on Safari,” was written for children aged 8 to 12 years old. It aims to broaden readers’ horizons, help them learn about the animal inhabitants of our planet, and foster their quest for discovery and adventure.
