Jacquelyn Smith is a Canadian author from the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario, where apologies are a regular part of most social interactions, and the second 'T' in 'Toronto' is definitely silent. (Sorry.)Jacquelyn writes epic fantasy, including the World of Lasniniar and Fatal Empire series. She also writes female detective fiction. Her fantasy short stories "The Unclean" and "The God's Eye" have won back-to-back awards from Writers' Journal, and both stories have appeared in Writers' Journal magazine.When spending time in the real world, she lives with her husband Mark, and their feline owner, Xena.
