Phoenix's are given only a lifetime of one mate, that's until when the mate dies. These two characters have so much in common, that they try and stay out of each others way until they cant anymore. Its a must read and you wont be disappointed. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.

This was a enjoyable story about Dr. Alexio Pyrrhos and Dr. Samantha Reyes who go to Antarctica for different reasons. Alexio a phoenix shifter is exploring and testing ways to break the mating bond that occurs among his race since his fated mate was a bloodthirsty warrior that he hated and Samantha is researching the regenerative properties of the hoatzin, reptile bird, to help people with missing or lost limbs. When Samantha arrives and in a remote research lab facility that Alexio has had alone for years. Samantha is determined not to be scare away until her research on the hoatzin is complete and Alexio is astonished to be find himself attracted to Samantha. Will they learn to live together? This engaging ARC was a pleasure to read and volunteer to review.
