This is a novella, as are all the Chronicle series, & was a super fast read that hooks you in with an enticing plot that showcases Jefferson's talent in tracking down serial killers. With his lack of social skills, rampant egoism & ability to get into the mind of a serial killer (his Dad was one),you know you shouldn't like him but you can't help yourself. Maybe it's that cheeky grin of his, maybe it's his thumbing of his nose at the establishment, all I know is that you are guaranteed a great ride!

A fast-paced, easy flowing detective book with interesting characters. I look forward to reading more cases with the duo.

Simplified rubbish. This is the reason why these books are so cheap. Don't waste your money.
