The Hidden Tower

At the end, its like author couldnt be bothered writing the last book, so in last chapter book 7 the main char just gives up on his goals out of nowhere and stops, leaving the whole story open, yet completely unfulfilled. Pointless? Good read with an ending that rivals game of thrones in disappointment.

Don't know how I made it through the entire book, honestly. While built in an interesting world, the characters' interactions, motivations, and emotions are all extremely flat and stilted. I couldn't care less about the characters. It seems like there are just plot points, with zero progression or growth between them. Also, the COMMAS. Oh my god, there are so many run-on sentences. He doesn't use oxford commas. Who edited this book??

This series was enjoyable to read all the way up until the final book. Can't believe it ended the the way it did. Very disappointed that the MC didn't end up getting to achieve his final goal.
