About this ebook

***THE RUNAWAY BESTSELLER, WITH NEW MATERIAL FOR THE PAPERBACK***

THE REVEALING, DEFINING ACCOUNT OF THE DARK NETWORK THAT BROKE OUR COUNTRY.

Something has gone really wrong in Britain.

Our economy has tanked, our freedoms are shrinking, and social divisions are growing. Our politicians seem most interested in their own careers, and much of the media only make things worse. We are living in a country almost unrecognisable from the one that existed a decade ago. But whose fault is it really? Who broke Britain and how did they do it?

Bold and incisive as ever, James O'Brien reveals the shady network of influence that has created a broken Britain of strikes, shortages and scandals. He maps the web connecting dark think tanks to Downing Street, the journalists involved in selling it to the public and the media bosses pushing their own agendas. Over ten chapters, each focusing on a particular person complicit in the downfall, James O'Brien reveals how a select few have conspired - sometimes by incompetence, sometimes by design - to bring Britain to its knees.

The man is obsessed, bordering mad,any radio presenter shouldn't be so rude and biased no wonder our youth treat people with disrespect, like nick ferari presenter I refer him to a barra boy working in a market both obsessed with there own importance, like Andrew hard Castle, they all the same ,over paid ,and any caller who phones in and passes the vetting process who disagrees with there views is cut off or passed over, They call themselves radio presenters they all think they know politicall issues but they know nothing,James obrian and the rest of LBC what are they going to do when labour gets in what will they be able to talk about? Andrew hard Castle you winge all the time, basically selfish it's all image with you isn't it,you keep on having a pop at Boris how much he earns, how about you tell us how much you earn,of you won't because to pretend your an ordinary BLOCK, but probly got a few million, your abit fake .

I'd give this book 5 stars, if I didn't feel as though I've listened to James writing it in real time over the last 18 months or so! Nonetheless, it's a timely, well-written distillation of the utter filth that has been allowed (deliberately, in my opinion) to pollute our national discourse, and, ultimately, driven us to take such disastrous courses of action, over and over again, without ever seeming to learn from our mistakes. James doesn't offer any answers, but I'm not sure there are any, as long as our democracy exists within the weird ecosystem he describes here...Depressing? Or a call to action?

So far left I can't see him. I don't think he even knows of the middle ground. James needs look at it from the right, even though the socialist left would be much worse than what we have now. Keir Starmer is joined at the hip with Nazi Klaus Schwab.
