This book is just terrible and reads like it was written by an AI that overdosed on bad US Police TV. Poe isn't Poe, Marple certainly isn't Marple and Holmes is only Holmes because of the introduction of heroine addiction. The crimes are bland TV fair, the solutions ridiculously simple and the three 'heroes' could be anyone. I'm not sure whose idea this was but they should be banned from writing for life. Please don't make a action film of this with Idris Elba as Holmes, Emily Blunt as Marple and Nick Cage as Poe because that would be the final insult.

Good character interaction between the 3 detectives and those around them. Also, some witty dialogue that gained a smile or a laugh. The story flows semi predictably. A good holiday read.
